Decide your travel dates first
Umrah can be performed year-round, but Ramadan and school holidays are busier and more expensive. Booking early usually gives better hotel choices and flight fares.
Check what is included
Ask for a written inclusion list: visa, insurance, return flights, hotel nights, meals, ziyarat transport, laundry and Zamzam water. A low price with missing essentials can cost more later.
Hotel distance matters
Confirm whether the hotel is walking distance from the Haram or requires transport. For elderly pilgrims, a closer hotel is often worth the extra cost.
Compare duration and room sharing
Most 20-day packages split 10 nights in Makkah and 10 in Madinah. Check room-sharing arrangements and whether family rooms are available.
Look for real support
A good operator answers calls before booking and provides on-ground assistance during the trip. Read recent reviews and ask for the group leader details.
Understand the scheme terms
If you join through a distributor scheme, read the joining amount, commission rules and team target carefully. Ask for everything in writing and keep payment receipts.
